My daughter and I decided to leave the big smoke after the pandemic and always dreamt of owning animals. So we found a house that came with alpacas, goats and chickens! We are loving the new lifestyle and having more space than our London place. 

We are making the most of the countryside by foraging, baking and brewing from the garden. We have so far made fruit preserves, elderberry wine, nettle beer, elderflower champagne and ground ivy tea. The alpacas recently had their annual hair cut so my next task is learning to spin yarn and get crocheting.
